Also known as the West Seattle American Legion Post 160 has over 200+ members. This Post features a banquet hall for rental that holds over 110 people and sponsors Boys and Girls State Programs. They also Sponsor a local Jr Rifle Marksmanship Club. Their Canteen is in the middle of renovations and should be completed very soon. Commander Keith Hughes invites you down to enjoy the atmosphere on all patriotic holidays.

The West Seattle Veteran Center is currently open Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 9 am until 2 pm. A trained Veteran’s Service Officer is available by appointment on Thursday mornings. Call 206-932-9696 for appointment times.
We have a warm and comfortable place to get out of the weather with free coffee, tea, hot coco, instant oat meal, and some hot lunch items. The WiFi is always on, and we have 2 laptops for your use if needed. We have just completed a shower facility, and will be adding the laundry room in late December or early January – as donations come in. Plumbing and electrical for the laundry are complete.
If you are a homeless Veteran and in need of a shower or just to wash some clothes, we now have a shower and a laundry room if you need them. Please contact commander Keith for any details.
