American Legion Owensboro Post 9

Also know as the James L. Yates American Legion, Post 9 has 850+ Members, including the Color Guard, Auxiliary, Sons of Legion, and Legion Riders. All these groups meet here for a variety of outings and events. The Legion sponsors Locks of Love, Toys for Tots, and Boys State & Girls State (programs that teach students about the U.S. Government). Charlie Lagadenies and the entire staff extends a warm welcome to you and invites you to enjoy the atmosphere and the events on all patriotic holidays.
