To be a veteran one must know and determine one’s price for freedom.

American’s Veterans have done everything asked of them in their mission to serve our country and it is never too late to give them a hero’s welcome home. Our hospice staff may provide the last opportunity for Veterans to feel that their service was not in vain, and that they are appreciated. Simple acts of gratitude at the end-of-life can make up for a lack of appreciation or recognition during the Veteran’s lifetime, especially for those Veterans who were never welcomed home or thanked for service.

The AseraCare hospice goal is to improve the quality of life for terminally ill patients. This means managing symptoms to allow our patients to live alert, pain-free and with dignity, supported by loved ones and our caring staff and volunteers. Our Interdisciplinary team will provide physical comfort, spiritual and emotional support tailored to the individual’s needs for his or her end of life journey. We focus on creating an environment in which patients and their families are treated as though they are our own.
