Bridesburg-Lawton VFW Post 2 has 100+ Members that meet here for a variety of outings and events. The Post has a Canteen and also offers a Banquet Hall for rental. The VFW sponsors Voice of Democracy, Patriot's Pen (Youth Essay Writing Contest), and Teacher / EMT / Police Officer & Firefighter of the Year Awards.
