Frequently Asked Questions

General
How many other companies in my industry will be listed in my area?
We understand that everyone would ideally like to be the only Ad appearing in their particular industry and in their particular area. However, this is logistically impractical and unfair, and thus there is no limit to the amount of businesses we will allow to sponsor our Veteran programming. We do offer unique strategies that can help propel your business beyond that of any local competitors, and we urge you to ask your agent about these exciting advantages.

When will my web listing be up and how long will it air?
Your Listing will normally be up within 24 hours of placing the order, and will remain available to anyone with an internet connection for the duration you have subscribed to (e.g. 3 months, 6 months, or an entire year).

How many times will my ad appear on the TV at the Club?
Our Veteran-Centered programming is scheduled to run in a continuous loop throughout the day at the Club, and your Ad will rotate on average once every hour and a half.

Why does your telephone number come up as a local number when you are physically in Tucson, Arizona?

For our customer’s convenience, we subscribe to a telephone technology system that allows us to receive and make calls that are routed from local telephone numbers. This technology is particularly appreciated by our senior community, and any others, that remain using a landline.

When do I need to pay for my Ad?

Payment is due upon receipt of the invoice.

Can you guarantee that I will receive leads or calls from this Veteran advertising program?
As a Veteran owned business we are bound by our honor, and therefore we will never guarantee you “X” amount of calls or leads. We can, however, guarantee that your Ad will be placed on one of the most comprehensive web directories for Veterans and their families; and, in most instances directly in front of Veterans at local Veteran Clubs.

What are these Veteran Clubs, and what type of activities occurs there?

We Veterans simply call them our Club, but they are officially nonprofit Veteran Service Organizations. Their entire mission is serving the needs of Veterans, and you likely know them as the VFW (Veterans of Foreign Wars), American Legion, or DAV (Disabled American Veterans), etc. Besides tending to the specific needs of Veterans, these Clubs have regular awards ceremonies, fish fry’s, Bingo, Karaoke, Banquet Hall events (Weddings, etc.), Breakfast & Dinner, Lounge, and special seminars and events.

How did you get my telephone number?

It has been our experience that local businesses prefer to sponsor and support the Veterans in their own community, and with this in mind we scour local directories for businesses that are a good fit for the project. We also welcome and obtain referrals from local Veterans, their families, and other businesses for companies whom they believe deserve inclusion in our program.

Can you provide me with a W-9?
Yes, simply visit our website, www.info.hnnusa.org.

How big are the televisions at the Clubs, and where are they located?

The televisions range from 19” to 50”, and the location is in a high traffic area selected by the Club themselves.
